Abraham Lincoln’s Stories at Wells County 4-H Fair

The Wells County 4-H Fair recently hosted Abraham Lincoln played by Danny Russel as part of the Log Cabin programs. Lincoln shared stories of his time growing up in Indiana, working as an attorney in Illinois and his efforts to lead the country during the Civil War.

One of the stories that Lincoln told was about the death of his mother when he was a young boy in Indiana.

Lincoln also spoke about his trip to Gettysburg where he delivered a short speech.
