Local residents were able to celebrate America’s 250th by taking a step through Wells County history. A History Walk was organized by the Wells County Historical Society and the Bluffton Parks Department on the River Greenway in Bluffton along the Wabash River. It began at the Iris Garden and continued to almost the Red Bridge.
Along the route, walkers were able to learn about the oil & gas boom, the interurban lines, the Bluffton piano factories, the Caylor Family, Henry Thoma & Family, John Studebaker, E.B. Williamson and more.
