Senior Snippets – Fall 2025

Our local history series begins on September 24, 10:00am at the Wells County Historical Museum with Alan Dougherty speaking about the Civilian Conservation Corps and the impact it had at Ouabache State Park. The Senior Snippets is part of the Bluffton Parks Department program. The series is free and advance registration is appreciated by call 824-6069 or at: events@blufftonindiana.gov. All of the sessions will be held at the Wells County Historical Museum, 420 W. Market St., Bluffton, Indiana.

On October 1, 10:00 am at the museum our local history continues with Lynn Elliot and her personal story of Daughters of the Civil War Veterans, 1861-1865.

Learn about the Daughters of the American Revolution from local members Alice Curry and Joan Gavilanez. The event will be on October 8, 10:00 am at the museum.

Wells County Historian, Jim Sturgeon will share information about the upcoming 250th celebration of America at the final program of the local history series on October 15, 10:00 am at the museum.
