Native American genealogy story shared

Thank you to everyone who attended the January meeting of the Wells County Genealogy Society held recently at the public library in Bluffton. Wells County resident Matt Day was the featured speaker and his topic was his Native American genealogy.

Matt shared his genealogy and family history about the Shadle family and their Indian heritage.

Matt shared some of his most valuable research sites which he used to help write his family history.

Through Matt and other family members efforts, they were able to publish the Cecil Victoria Shadle-Day-Barton-Day Reinchield, Family and Life Story, 1900 – 1988. The book is available at the in the Genealogy area at the Wellls County Public Library in Bluffton.
