Thank you to all of the visitors who voted for their favorite trees at the “Christmas in the Mansion,” held over four weekends during November and December, 2025 at the Wells County Historical Museum in Bluffton. Over 1000 ballots were submitted by visitors listing their choice of the top three trees from the 37 decorated trees that were on display in the museum.

The First Place tree, pictured above, was #7, which was located in the West Room, along the center section of the west wall. The tree was decorated by Lori Davis and Kendra Davis and featured a Top Hat at the very top of the tree.

Second Place tree was # 11, decorated by Cari Whicker. The tree was located in the West Room, along the east wall and featured numerous small watercolor paintings of Wells County buildings. The tree and display case featured the paintings and embroidery work by Cari.

Third Place tree was #17, which was located in the Phone Booth Room. The tree was decorated in memory of Nora LaVine by her loving daughters. The tree featured a large and long Santa hat on top.

Thank you once again to everyone who attended the “Christmas in the Mansion” and took the time to vote for your favorite trees. Many volunteers work long hours to design and decorate the trees so that the community may enjoy the event. Thank you and we hope to see you next year.
