A special Veterans Day program titled, “Letters from Local Veterans” was presented on Monday, November 10, 6:30pm at the Wells County Historical Museum Annex in Bluffton.
The program was presented by local volunteers from the historical society and included the reading of letters from World War I and other wars and conflicts.
Some artifacts not in the regular armed services collection was available for viewing during the meeting. Jim Sturgeon is shown here speaking about an artillery shell from WW I.
A short Historical Society business meeting was held with treasurer Lynn Elliot giving the financial report.
Secretary Marcia Hotopp shares the minutes from the spring meeting.
