Seeking Volunteers for “Christmas in the Mansion”

The holiday season will soon be here and the Wells County Historical Society is seeking volunteers to assist with hosting duties during “Christmas at the Museum” when more than 25 decorated holiday trees will be on display for viewing. Dates include Nov. 30-Dec. 1, 7- 8, 14-15 and 21-22. At least two people are needed on each of the shifts. Volunteer hours are 1:30 – 5:30pm, museum is open 2-5:30pm. Hours on Dec. 14, 1st shift 9:30am-3:30pm and 2nd shift 3:30-5:30pm, museum is open 10am-5:30pm. Extra volunteers are especially needed on Saturday, Dec. 14 during the Parlor City Christmas when many visitors stop by to view the trees and vote on their favorite. The Wells County Historical Society is also needing some cookies and snacks for the “Christmas in the Mansion” weekends. The items can be homemade or purchased. Call Becky at 260-438-5603 if you would like to donate something.
