Tocsin School

Built in 1908, the Tocsin Graded School is located near Tocsin on 600E just north of U.S. 224. The structure is a great example of a restored school that now serves as a home. This is just one of many schools that are highlighted in the book, “The History of Wells County Schools 1837 – 2022”.

On Monday, October 9, the Wells County Historical Society hosted their Fall Meeting with a short business meeting and a program presented by the authors, (let to right) Marcia Hotopp, Connie Brubaker and Lynn Elliott. The history book is available at the museum or can be arranged by calling 260-824-9956 or e-mailing mchotopp@gmail.com.
