Five Points School located in Chester Township of Wells County (5300 W. – 1100 S. -90, Montpelier) is a great example of a restored two story, one-room school house. Built in 1876, it is just one of the many schools that are included in the newly released book, “The History of Wells County Schools 1837 – 2022.” The book is on sale now and is available during normal Wells County Historical Museum hours or by calling the museum at 260-824-9956 or e-mailing mchotopp@gmail.com.
