The authors of the the newly released book, “The History of Wells County Schools 1837 – 2022” were busy during the summer months speaking to various groups around the county.

The former Columbian Elementary School is located on West Washington Street in Bluffton. This is just one of the many schools that is included in the newly released book, “The History of Wells County Schools 1837 – 2022.”
The book is on sale and is available during normal Wells County Historical Museum hours or by calling the museum at 260-824-9956 or e-mailing mchotopp@gmail.com. Cost is $50 with the procedes to benefit the new roof on the Museum’s Carriage House and the all access ramp for the Museum.
